Stonehenge

Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument located in Wiltshire , England. It consists of a circular set of large standing stones, known as megaliths. It is in the middle of most dense complex of Neolithic and Bronze Age monuments in England .
Archaeologists believe it was built anywhere from 3000 BC to 2000 BC .
The site and its surroundings were added to the UNESCO's list of World Sites in 1986 .
Archaeological evidence indicates that Stonehenge could have been a burial ground from its earliest beginnings

Rosa Parks

Rosa Parks was an activist in the US and has become a symbol of the civil rights movement. On December 1, 1955 is arrested because in a bus occupies the row reserved for whites and refused to get up; The driver then called the cops. From that moment is known as "mother of civil rights moviment" and began a boycott of the Montgomery Bus. That night fifty leaders of the African American community rebelled under the leadership of Martin Luther King started a protest that will last 382 days. For his actions is threatened and is forced to move to Detroit. In February of 1987 Parks founded the Rosa and Raymond Parks Institute for Self Development along with Elaine Eason Steele in honor of her husband Raymond Parks. In 1999 gets the Congressional Gold Medal.
She died in Detroit on 24 October 2005.

The palindrome is a sequence of letters that can be read also in reverse. The palindrome is a form linked to linguistic units. The first palindromes were transcribed verbatim in the Middle Ages. According to a legend, the inventor is the poet greek Sotades.

ℋappy Days

Happy Days is an American situation comedy which is started from 1974 and is finished in 1984. The themes are; friendship, love, festivals, cinema, culture, music, entertainment and lifestyle of American teenagers. Set in Milwaukee , the series revolves around teenager Richie Cunningham and his family: his father  Howard, his mother Marion and his younger sister Joanie . Other personages are his friends Ralph Malph Warren and specially Fonzie a beautiful boy that will give advices to Richie and will become the central figure of series .

MODERN ART

Art is one of the most creative forms of human expression. The art over the years is changed and in fact there are various forms of art. Some artists like David Foster and Marcus Levine through their passion for art have developed a new form of art inspired by the " Pointillism". They use nails to create their sculptures . Davids's work depict the Beatles , Marilyn Monroe , the Queen Elizabeth or some animals , while Marcus' works represent the human body. Marcus's work are exposed in the gallery of London .
- I think that modern art is very beautiful and original . The techniques are simple but creative . The artistics works are very expressive, even if they are cold and superficial.

THE ISLAND OF THE SUN 

A Chinese folk tale told by David Heathfield

There once was a farmer who had two sons. The eldest son was selfish and greedy, while the younger son was kind and generous. When the farmer died, the eldest son took all the wealth of his father, while his younger brother with a basket and a knife to cut firewood and sell it to buy food. So one day the poor boy went into the woods and while sitting on a rock encountered a bird. This bird took him up on his back and took him to an island where there was always sunshine and lots of gold. The boy took a piece of gold, took it home, and so did his brother decided to take the gold island. When he went into the forest the bird took him on the island, but the greedy guy stole all the gold. The story ends with the death of the boy, sunburned.
