These are the first words anyone learns in any language ; for example in English we know some important words , like ; "fuck" , "shit" , "hell" ... , and we use these words when we're angry or when we're not thinking . "Vaffanculo" is the first thing any Italian American learns when they're speaking Italian with their family ; and so "Dirty Italian" is the real language of Italy , but it's also considered like a chic language . Gabrielle Euvino also said that there are some terms that have regional variations and some terms that are universally understood . For example if we are in Rome or in Venice the term "patatina" has different meanings . It can be a vulgar term and can means "pussy" , but in Sicily you can call your daughter a "patatina". Gabrielle Euvino is also the author of "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Learning Italian" and it's another book to learn the worst terms and some words that are very user-friendly .
