Diamante Poems

The Simpson

My favorite TV series is "The Simpson" . It is a very popular animated sitcom , that shows the lifestyle of Americans , through funny scenes . The main characters are : Homer , Marge and their three children Bart , Lisa and Maggie . It's unrealistic , but shows the reality . The shows high successful since its first appearance in TV in 1987 and many people really like it . I really like it because is funny , even if sometimes is a bit educationally harmful . I recommend this series to people that aren't very superficial . It's very beautiful !

Animal rights ☮

The expression "Animal Rights" refers to the extension of human rights to animal species . It has a moral and legal value . One of the first who made debates of "Animal Rights" was Peter Singer. He said that animals haven't related rights , because these rights are given with general and not individually; and they even haven't absolute rights because these rights are for human but not for animals ; in fact , if an animal kills another animal this isn't a crime . For this reason it would be " Duties of human towards animals" . A Universal declaration of animal right was approved by UNESCO in 1978 . Even some associations try to defend the animals as "People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals" (PETA) , or "Association for the defence of animal rights" in Italy . Also have been proclaimed some articles as:
-Every animal has the right to respect and freedom.
-The human can't kill or mistreat an animal.
-The capture techniques need to be changed.
-Every animal has the right to protection and care.

Today many people become vegan or vegetarian to respect and don't kill animals , and this is a step toward civilization !

RAK ♥

A random act of kindness is a selfless act performed by a person to cheer up an individual person or people. These acts of kindness are encouraged by various communities .
There are various ideas to make random acts of kindness :
1. Tweet or Facebook message a genuine compliment to three people right now.
2. Don’t write the angry internet comment you’re thinking of writing.
3. Cook a meal or do a load of laundry for a friend who just had a baby or is going through a difficult time.
4. Each time you get a new piece of clothing, donate an old one.
5. Don't interrupt when someone else is speaking.
6. Email or write an old teacher who made a difference in your life.
7. Smile at someone on the street, just because.
8. Forgive someone, and never bring up the issue again.
9. Talk to the shy person who’s sitting by themselves at a party.
10. Let the person behind you at the supermarket checkout with one or two items go ahead of you.
11. Help a mother with her baby stroller.
